Thank you so much for the cookie gift you sent. It's been a long time since I've had such delicious cookies. I was just in need of a break, and thanks to you, I was able to enjoy my day even more.

This morning, I woke up early to write a piece I had been putting off for a long time. However, even with a pen in hand, the words didn't flow out as much as I had hoped.

Letter-Writing (1912)_Carl Larsson (Swedish, 1853-1919)

Before I knew it, I was lost in thought, and instead of writing, I started looking for the reason why I couldn't concentrate. My desk was clean, there was no laundry piled up, and I had even prepared the ingredients for lunch in advance. Everything was perfect, so why couldn't I write? I thought it was strange, and then I suddenly realized that I hadn't rested enough.

I put down my pen for a moment and went out to the garden, taking the cookies you sent with me. Our garden is full of flowers announcing the arrival of summer – red roses, yellow sunflowers, and blue lavender intertwine, creating a vibrant spectacle of colors. As a gentle breeze swept through the flowers, filling the air with their fragrance, I savored the crispy cookies, and it felt like heaven itself.

In our busy lives, we often forget the rest we need. But I think if we've worked hard, we deserve a break. It's an important process for gaining new strength.

It's also important to keep moving forward. But sometimes, it's also important to stop and look around, enjoying the beauty of nature. These moments of rest give us new energy and empower us to run again.

You said you made cookies because you thought I needed a break lately, right? And you also said you were wondering if it was okay to take a break.

I can totally understand that concern. But my thoughts are this: It's okay to not always be busy. Taking a moment to stop and look around and find the pause you need isn't a waste of time. Pauses are actually what gives us the drive to go further and stronger.

I believe that allowing small pauses in our lives allows us to gain greater energy.

P.S.

There are so many things I want to say, but I don't always seem to be able to say them all.
